Upgrading the control system of 200MW

In 2008 the contract was made on the production Unit 3 Power Plant in Počerady. The subject of the work was upgrading the control system of 200MW on the performance of the Unit.
The Unit was shut down on 15.8.2008 and test operation was started on 8.11.2008.
14.11.2008 the work was completely transmitted.
Work on part ASCTP lasted only 2 months, after this time the block was again put into operation.
Unit 3 was originally controlled by the control system GE Fanuc Series 90-30 with 43 single controllers by functional technological units. The new concept, which currently prefers ČEZ, is based on 5 performing redundant controller GE Fanuc PACSystems Rx7i mirroring the memory..
In the original group controller was replaced CPU by Niu block, so that they can be used as a remote controller ICs. Communication between controllers and remote IO using redundant Ethernet bus.
The old control alghoritms (SW - logicmaster) were transformed to the new software enviroment Cimplicity ME suitable for controlers Rx7i.
It was necessary upgrade all Cimplicity HMI SCADA system of power plant unit and it needs to develope application software for HMI servers and operators stations.
New optical Ethernet comunications buses were made for transition on new configuration of control system.
Upgrade of HMI, in any local control rooms, to SCADA Cimplicity HMI GE Fanuc was in scope of work
