RWE Transgas
The turboset
Customer: RWE Transgas, Inc.
Location: Břeclav
Project Description:
9 x turboset 6MW in turbine halls
1 & 2 and 1 x turboset 22MW at Nuovo Pignone
Concept
The equipment installed at KS Břeclav is used for online vibration measurement diagnostics. A new monitoring system using the platform Bently Nevada 3500 will be supplied for the 9 pcs turboset 6MW operations. 3 system racks 3500 in total are installed in TH 1 and 2, one system per 3 turbosets each time. New cabling is now used to connect the existing sensors for turboset vibration evaluation to the system rack 3500 which provides the necessary data to the existing PAC control system via optical separators. The newly installed system includes a System1® DAQ Server installed in the contacting room TP2 which evaluates 3500 and 3300 rack data via Ethernet 10- / 100Mbps communications.
The communication system is installed on the new switchboard BN05C3 (terminated operation of optical cables, optical-metallic transmitters and Ethernet switch 10/100 Mbps). This new PC is also hooked up to the RWE corporate network via a communications card from which the measured data may be distributed to the RWE Transgas headquarters in Prague.
Ethernet data outlets are installed at both ends of each turbine hall to connect the Diagnostics Lab to the Bently 3500 systems. These outlets are hooked up to the relevant ethernet switches and the topology allows to configure and evaluate data from any Bently 3500 or 3300 rack.
In the framework of the Nuovo Pignone operations, the existing vibration measurement system was upgraded by the replacement of the existing 3300 system monitor for a 3300/02 Transient Data embedded (TDe) System Monitor. The communication system features a new switchboard BN04C3 which is installed on the wall next to the Bently Nevada switchboard. The rack 3300 is connected through a switch to the Ethernet 10/100Mbps System1® Server.
Control system:
Bently Nevada 3500, Bently Nevada 3300 Transient Data Embedded Monitor + System1® DAQ Server; 81 I/O points;
Communication system installed as Port Switched Ethernet 10-/100Mbps (active network components of the company Allied Telesyn and structured cabling elements of the company Panduit)
