Description:
In 2006 the contract was launched on chlorine chemistry in Spolchemie in Usti nad Labem.
This is an implementation of a fully redundant control system Yokogawa Centum CS3000 DCS to ride technology production of hydrochloric acid (HCl) and the operation of liquid chlorine, where is stored liquid chlorine and other technology used in operation of the business Spolchemie.
HCl production technology makes it possible to use chlorine degassed from other plants for their own production of HCl.
The whole operation of chlorine chemistry contains all the necessary technology parts, such as cleaning, absorption, refrigeration, compressor, dispatch, storage and more.
The contract was divided into three separate stages due to continuous operation, where it is possible to make changes only in the short time of planned shutdowns. The operation is fully dependent on other technological units Spolchemie, and therefore can not be shut out of the plan.
I.Stage
The exchange of the existing Delta V for DCS Centum CS3000 DCS in the production of HCl. At this stage they were supplied operator stations and engineering stations.
Yokogawa DCS has received a configuration which has already been prepared for the extension of the following stages. She was also ready to optical communication between the control rooms.
II. and III. Stage
Consisted in the removal of existing pneumatic controllers and manual controls
(buttons, switches). Yokogawa DCS has been extended for a further number of remote IO modules, to which was added the existing and new field instrumentation, which was added during the technological change and expansion.
In the second stage the control room was equipped with operator furniture.
At this stage it was involved in the DCS 15 separate facilities for bus Profibus DP.
All modifications were carried out during planned shutdowns of operation which have never been more than a few days.
