Project description

ZPA Industry a.s. employees have been involved in the complete supply of the electrical and control system for the production and the conveyor technology in the new paintshop for Volkswagen / Skoda Auto Mladá Boleslav - hall M11B, which has a production of 1600 coachworks a day. Our employees worked on positions of main project managers, supervisors, software specialist, design engineers, group leaders, technicians, assembly supervisors and other positions to provide design, delivery, assembly, commissioning and maintenance. General Electric Fanuc’s control system was implemented, together with field instrumentation like pressure, differential and flow transmitters from Endress+Hauser; induction transmitters from Pepperl+Fuchs and others.

 Technology description

1) Production Technology

a) provision of optimal climatic conditions in spray-cabines - control of air ventilators (15 x 200 kW), thermal recuperative exchangers (10x), moisteners (5x)

b) provision of circulatory pump operation of the Venturi system in spraycabines

c) provision of drying-tunnel operation - temperature regulation by IR-emitter Watlow (168x).

 

2) Conveyor technology

a) control of all bodywork movements in the hall with connection to the entry out of the galvanic

     metal plating hall and exit to sequential stock, old and new assembly

b) control of 740 motors for movement of the roller-rail of the lifting , turning and shifting- tables,

    2-3 elevators.
