Check Scale of KEG Barrels
The scale is designed to be built into horizontal roller conveyors after the KEG barrelling lines. The control and check electronic unit indicates the weight of each barrel and in case of insufficient filling it makes an alert for its rejection.
Description
The scale is included in a standard roller line, from which a section of a length of approx. 500 mm is reserved. Its base is fixedly connected with the neighbouring props of the roller line. The upper part of approx. 5 rollers is attached as the scale platform, the weight of which is permanently evaluated by means of tensometric sensors with the respective electronic unit.
The electronic unit provides:
- control of the weighing cycle – by means of delivered light barriers,
- digital displaying of the weight of the barrel,
- signalling of erroneous filling of a barrel, both optically and acoustically,
- possibility of weighing of more types of barrels,
- possibility of automatic rejection of a badly filled barrel,
- possibility of remote transfer of information about weighing.

The delivery includes the complete set of cabling and 2 sets of accompanying documentation. Available optional accessories include:
indication of the number of good and rejected barrels with distinguishing of their size in the set interval (shift, day, week), printing of labels on the rejected barrels with indication of the quantity,
RS 485 communication line for transfer of the weight data into another computer.
The price of the accessories is arranged individually on the basis of more specific requirements.
Delivery terms
The term of delivery of the above described equipment is within 3 months after signing of the contract by both parties. Shorter terms are available by agreement.
The installation and putting into operation of the device and training of the staff may be performed within 3 weeks after the delivery of the equipment. The price of installation is to be arranged individually. For information, it is approximately 10 to 15% of the delivery price.
Guarantee terms, service
The supplier provides guarantee for the supplied equipment for 12 months from its putting into operation.
Possible servicing will be provided within 48 hours.
